QA Inspector
Department: Quality
Reports to: Senior QA Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To assure that all incoming materials and outgoing products are compliant with all compendial and in-house requirements. To assure that manufacturing and packaging operations are performed as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect incoming labels and cartons for accuracy and completeness.
- Inspect/sample raw materials
- Inspect incoming packaging materials for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform Line Clearances for Manufacturing, Compression, and Packaging
- Perform in process testing for Compression (hardness, weight, friability, thickness)
- Perform in process checks for Packaging (count, container, seal, label, etc.)
- Utilize forklifts to perform duties required
- Adhere to all cGMP requirements and document all work
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior cGMP experience preferred
- Prior experience within the Pharmaceutical or other controlled Industry preferred
- Ability to work independently
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
